The MMX-1801 is a high-quality interface which can detect, pass, or insert AFD (Active Format Description) into HD and SD signals.
A unique feature is its ability to embed Dolby Metadata and two GPI status signals into the video signal. The card also serves as a VLI and WSS inserter for SD signals.
The MMX-1801 has a built-in color bar test generator.
