The XVP-3901 can be combined with the DAP-1781 for the most advanced multi-channel audio processing. As indicated below (upper diagram), this combination can provide Dolby E decoding, Automatic Loudness Control (using Linear Acoustic or Jünger Audio processing), upmixing and Dolby Digital (AC-3) encoding, while keeping audio/video tracking on the output. If upmixing is not required, this can be accomplished with a single XVP-3901 signal processor card using Miranda ALC (lower diagram).
