Our customers span the world and include industry leading television broadcasters, along with cable, satellite and IPTV providers. To support them and be close to their evolving needs, Miranda employs approximately 550 people around the globe, in both developed and very promising emerging markets. Our head office is located in Montreal and we have facilities in the US, the UK, the Netherlands, France, Japan, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong and mainland China. We also have a global network of distributors and dealers.
International sales – those outside of Canada and the USA – are steadily increasing and made up over 52% of total sales in 2009. This global reach is an important factor in our success, allowing us to capitalize on stronger markets and positioning us along the broadcast evolution timeline; from emerging countries that are just adopting digital technology to others that are now employing high definition TV channels in 3D.
