16 CHANNEL AUDIO MIXING AND 8 CHANNEL PLAYOUT
The internal audio mixer of the Imagestore HDTV processors
can perform 16 channel AES/embedded audio mixing, and also provide an eight
channel internal voice-over playout. This allows a range of sophisticated audio
mixing operations, including dual language 5.1 mixing and 5.1 audio snipes.
The clip playout capability of the Imagestore Intuition+ co-processor provides
8 channels of audio playout (6 channels with SD version) which can feed the
external inputs of the audio mixer. |

MULTI-LINGUAL BROADCASTING |
SIMULTANEOUS BROADCASTING IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES
Broadcasting in multiple languages allows stations to reach out across geographic borders, and also address national minorities. In the past, this has typically involved complex audio mixing configurations which have been very costly, and difficult to control manually and by automation.
With Imagestore HDTV processors, multilingual
broadcasting can be performed elegantly in both HD and
SDI, using highly integrated master control switching and channel
branding processors. |

MIXING IN EIGHT LANGUAGES
Imagestore HDTV processors are ideally
suited to multi-lingual broadcasting using AES/embedded audio
mixing. For instance, the processors can be used to perform stereo
AES/embedded audio mixing using eight stereo pairs for eight
different languages. The clip playout capability of the Imagestore
Intuition+ co-processor provides 8 channels of audio playout (6
channels with SD version) which can feed the external inputs of the
audio mixer with up to eight separate language voice-overs. |
